Abstract

    A. PROVISIONAL FIGURES 2014
    • Paddy production 2014 (Preliminary figures) amounted to 23 481 tons of dry unhusked rice (GKG) or a decrease of 4,999 tons of GKG (17.55 percent) compared to the year 2013.
    • Decline in rice production amounted to 4,999 tonnes (17.55 percent) in 2014 occurred in subround Jan-Apr of 8472 tonnes (34.48 percent), while in subround the May-Aug and September to December increased by 3443 tonnes (176.47 percent ) and 30 tons (1.53 percent) compared to the same subround previous year.
    • Production of maize 2014 (Preliminary figures) amounted to 721 tons of dry seed or a decrease of 62 tons (7.92 percent) compared to the year 2013.
    • Peanut production in 2014 (Preliminary figures) amounted to 223 tons of dry beans or a decrease of 71 tons (24.51 percent) compared to the year 2013.
    B. FIGURES prognosis 2015
    • Production of rice in 2015 (Figures Prognosis) is estimated at 30 121 tonnes of paddy at the rate of productivity 26.15 quintal per hectare and harvested area estimate of approximately 11 518 hectares of rice.
    • Maize production in 2015 is estimated at 865 tonnes (up 19.97 percent) of dry corn with the productivity level of 34.46 quintal per hectare and harvested area estimate of approximately 251 acres of corn.
    • Peanut production in 2015 amounted to 211 tonnes (down 5.38 percent) peanuts dry seeds with the level of productivity of 10.24 quintals per hectare and harvested area estimate of 206 hectares.
