February 2015, 1.94% deflation occurred in the City Tanjungpandan

Abstract

Tanjungpandan in February 2015 experienced a deflation of 1.94 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounted to 126.08.
Deflation occurred in February 2015 due to a decrease in the price indicated by the decline in CPI in foodstuffs of 4.93 percent and in the transport, communication and financial services 6.78 percent. Meanwhile, processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco increased 1.43 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel rose 0.32 percent; clothing rose 0.05 percent; and health group rose 0.67 percent. While the education, recreation, and sport is stable or not change the index.
The inflation rate of the calendar year (January - February 2015) amounted to -0.58 percent and the inflation rate year-on-year (February 2015 to February 2014) amounted to 8.10 percent.
Groups that contributed / deflation in February 2015, namely foodstuffs 1.55 percent and in the transport, communication and financial services 0.77 percent. Meanwhile, processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco inflation contributed 0.27 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel 0.07 percent; clothing group of 0.01 percent; and health care at 0.03 percent. While the education, recreation, and sport stable / not contribute.
