Number of guests staying at the five-star hotel in Bangka Belitung Province padabulan April 2015, there were 18 622 people. This number increased by 13.19 percent compared to the previous month the number of guests who only amounted to 16.4528 person (Table 1). However, the increase only occurred in domestic guests as much as 2,242 people (13.90 percent), while the foreign guests was down as much as 72 people (22.02 percent)
Room occupancy rate (TPK) star in Bangka Belitung Province padaApril 2015 amounted to 36.89 percent. TPK value in April rose by 5.16 points compared to the value of TPK March 2015 which amounted to 31.77 percent.
TPK highest five-star hotel by district / city in April 2015 was in KotaPangkalpinang (51.35 percent), followed by the District of Belitung (35.60 percent) and Central Bangka regency (35.27 percent). While TPK Bangka only 25.98 percent.
On April 2015, the average length of stay of the total at the five-star hotel selama1,94 day, decreased when compared to the previous month. During April, the average length of stay (2.20 days) 0.27 days longer than Indonesian guests (1.93 days).

Transportation development

The number of inter-island passenger sea transport departing from Bangka Belitung Islands in April 2015, there were 14.65 thousand, up 51.97 percent over the previous month was recorded at 9.64 thousand people. When compared with the same period in the previous year (January - April 2014), the number of passengers fell by 33.41 percent.
Total passenger sea transport between islands that come in Bangka Belitung Islands in April 2015, there were 14.70 thousand people, also increased by 42.52 percent compared to 10.32 thousand people in March 2015. When compared to the same period in the current lalumaka arriving passengers also decreased by 16.58 percent.
The volume of goods loaded at the port in April 2015 reached 517.70 thousand tons, down sebesar9,34 percent when compared to the previous month were recorded 574.81 thousand tons. When compared with the same period the previous year an increase of up to 17.93 percent.
The volume of goods unloaded during the month of April 2015 amounted to 163.18 thousand tons, down 5.21 percent compared to the previous month amounted to 172.15 thousand tons. When compared with the same period the previous year (January to April 2014) decreased by 17.80 percent.
The number of air passengers departing from Bangka Belitung in April 2015 fell 1.85 percent to 84.29 thousand people than ever before are as many as 85.88 thousand people.
The number of passengers who come to Bangka Belitung using air transport in April 2015 amounted to 77.74 thousand passengers, down by 11.50 percent compared to the previous month to reach 87.84 thousand people.

The number of guests staying at star hotels in the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands in July 2022 increased by 7.67 percent compared to the number of guests in the previous month. The number of domestic guests rose 7.60 percent while the number of foreign guests rose 18.47 percent.

The number of inter-island sea transport passengers departing from the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in September 2022 was recorded at 28.64 thousand people, down 5.85 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-September 2021), the flow of departing passengers has increased by 110.70 percent.
