December 2017, Inflation in Pangkalpinang City About 1,33 Percent

Abstract

In December 2017, Pangkalpinang City experienced inflation of 1.33 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 136.95.

Inflation occurs due to price increases as indicated by the rise of some expenditure group indices, namely: foodstuffs by 2.35 percent; food, beverage, cigarette and tobacco group by 0.04 percent; housing, water, electricity and fuel group by 0.01 percent; clothing by 0.01 percent; as well as the transport, communications and financial services group by 4.68 percent. While the expenditure group that experienced a decrease in index was the health group by 0.08 percent. While the education group of recreation, and sport is still stable.

The calendar year inflation rate (January-December) 2017 and year-on-year inflation rate (December 2017 to December 2016) are respectively at 2.66 percent.

The core component in December 2017 experienced inflation of 0.61 percent. Government component inflation was 3.42 percent and inflation volatile component of 1.40 percent.

Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province December 2017 experienced inflation of 1.39 percent with CPI of 137.87.
