Number of guests staying at star-rated hotels in the Province
The islands of Bangka Belitung in January 2018 were recorded
as many as 32,035 people. This number decreased by 12.18 percent
compared to the previous month's number of guests
as many as 36.478 people. Decrease in number of guests occurred on
domestic guests and foreign guests amounted to 11.96
percent (4,271 people) and 22.45 percent (172 people).
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) star hotel classification
in the province of Bangka Belitung Islands in January
2018 reached an average of 32.43 percent, down 15.25 points
compared to the recorded December 2017 ROR
amounting to 47.68 percent.
TPK is the highest star hotel by regency / city
in January 2018 is in Central Bangka Regency
(38.46 percent), followed by Belitung Regency (38.01 percent),
Pangkalpinang City (26.30 percent), and Kabupaten Bangka
amounting to 17.38 percent.
In January 2018, the average length of stay of total guests
overall on the hotel star classification for 1.75 days,
a decline of 0.1 points compared to the previous month.
During January 2018, the average length of stay of guests
foreign (3.46 days) longer 1.74 days compared to Indonesian guests
(1.72 days).
