Abstract

EXPORT

The export value of Bangka Belitung Islands Province in February 2018 reached US $ 193.8 million, up 47.68 percent compared to export value in February 2017.

The value of tin exports rose 97.06 percent, while nontimah fell 44.55 percent (y-on-y).

Compared to the previous month (m-to-m), the value of exports rose by 214.46 percent. Tin exports climbed 351.86 percent and the number of items rose by 4.18 percent.

Singapore absorbs 25.57 percent (US $ 52.6 million) of tin exports, while Australia absorbs 47.99 percent (US $ 23.9 million) of non-government exports. During January-February 2018.

The value of mineral fuel exports (HS 27) in January-February 2018 amounted to US $ 23.99 million or 47.99 percent of the total export of the province of Bangka Belitung Province.

IMPORT

• Import value of Bangka Belitung Islands Province February 2018

amounting to US $ 3.3 million, down 54.82 percent compared to February

2017. So, imports from January to February 2018 to US $ 32.7

million.

• A total of 89.31 percent of imports from January to February 2018

in the form of oil and gas.

• Non-oil and gas imports from January to February 2018 are dominated by

machineries / aircraft mechanics (HS 84) of 92.25 percent

(US $ 3.2 million).

• Malaysia is a major exporter to the Islands Province

Bangka Belitung with a value of US $ 29.9 (91.37 percent).
