August 2018, Number of Guest Visits to Kep Province Bangka Belitung Reaches 38,451 Visits

Abstract

The number of guests staying at star-rated hotels in the Province of Bangka Belitung Islands in August 2018 was recorded as many as 38,451 people. This number increased by 9.54 percent compared to the number of guests in the previous month which were 35,102 people. The number of foreign and domestic guests rose by 40.70 percent and 8.94 percent respectively.
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) star classification hotels in Bangka Belitung Islands Province in August 2018 reached an average of 45.27 percent, up 7.02 points compared to June 2018 TPK which was recorded at 38.25 percent.
The highest TPK of star-rated hotels by regency / city in August 2018 was in Central Bangka Regency by 54.26 percent, followed by Regency in Belitung P. (47.65 percent), Pangkalpinang City (43.32 percent), and Bangka Regency (29, 99 percent).
As of August 2018, the average length of stay of total guests in a star classification hotel was 1.90 days, an increase of 0.03 points compared to the previous month. During August 2018, the average length of stay of foreign guests (3.05 days) is 1.18 days longer than Indonesian guests (1.87 days).
