The import value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in September 2018 was US $ 1.6 million, down 72.56 percent compared to September 2017. Thus, imports from January to September 2018 were US $ 122.2 million.
As many as 91.74 percent of imports from January to September 2018 in the form of oil and gas.
Non-oil and gas imports from January to September 2018 were dominated by machinery / mechanical aircraft (HS 84) of 66.61 percent (US $ 6.7 million).
In the first nine months of 2018, Malaysia became the main exporter to the Bangka Belitung Islands Province with a value of US $ 103.4 million (84.61 percent).
