Abstract

The Consumer Tendency (ITK) index of the Bangka Belitung Islands in Quarter III-2018 amounted to 97.03. This means, in quarter III-2018 economic conditions according to consumer perceptions declined compared to Quarter II-2018.
The decline in perceptions of consumer economic conditions in the third quarter of 2018 was influenced by ITS formation variables, namely a decrease in household income with an index value of 94.27 and the effect of inflation on consumption levels with index value of 96.16. Meanwhile, Volume Consumption shows a not too significant increase with an index value of 104.72.
The ITK value of the Bangka Belitung Islands in Quarter IV-2018 is estimated at 93.78. According to consumer perceptions, they are still pessimistic about the economic conditions in the coming quarter.
The Upcoming Income Index is estimated at 101.34. Consumers are optimistic that their income in quarter IV-2018 will be better than quarter III-2018. However, consumers have not planted buying goods that are durable, recreational or having a party / celebration. Plan Index Value for Purchasing Durable, Recreational and Party Goods / Celebrations is below 100, which is equal to 803
