The import value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in October 2018 was US $ 6.2 million, down 16.59 percent compared to October 2017. Thus, imports from January to October 2018 were US $ 128.5 million.
As many as 91.71 percent of imports from January to October 2018 in the form of oil and gas.
Non-oil and gas imports from January to October 2018 were dominated by machinery / mechanical aircraft (HS 84) of 67.79 percent (US $ 7.2 million).
In the first nine months of 2018, Malaysia became the main exporter to the Bangka Belitung Islands Province with a value of US $ 103.4 million (80.54 percent).
