Recruitment of 2019 Mapping officers

Regional Mapping activities are conducted by the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) one year ahead of the Population Census 2020. The mapping activity is an activity to update the map of the region to the smallest areas, namely villages and census blocks.

 

The mapping officer will update the village area map and census block to the field armed with sketch maps and digital maps. Updating the map of the area is carried out on boundaries, forms, coverage. As a supporter of the update activity, a landmark coordinate point is taken and the load is calculated (number of physical buildings, census buildings and households). The mapping activity in 2019 at the South Bangka Regency Central Bureau of Statistics requires around 64 mapping officers.
