Abstract

On December 2014 in Pangkalpinang an inflation of 2.58 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounted to 118.26 after earlier November 2014 also experienced inflation which amounted to 1.10 percent with CPI of 115.29.
Inflation occurs because of the increase in the price indicated by the rise in the index in all groups spending the foodstuff by 3.59 percent, food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco by 0.47 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel 2.33 percent; clothing group by 1.31 percent; health group 1.51 percent; education, recreation, and sport 0.03 percent; transport, communications, and services keuangan5,65 percent.
The inflation rate of the calendar year (January to December) 2014 and year-to-year inflation rate (December 2014 against December 2013) respectively by 6.81 percent.
The core component in December 2014 contributed an inflation of 0.55 percent and a volatile component of inflation of 0.80 percent as well. While the component whose price is set by the government contributed most yakni1,23 percent inflation.
