December 2017, Inflation in Tanjungpandan City About 1.50 Percent

Abstract

In December 2017 Tanjungpandan City experienced inflation of 1.50 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 139.56.

Inflation was attributable to price increases as indicated by the increase in index in 6 expenditure groups, namely: foodstuffs by 2.12 percent; finished food, beverage, cigarette and tobacco group by 0,87 percent; housing, water, electricity and fuel group by 0.11 percent; clothing group by 0.12 percent; health group by 0.32 percent, and transport, communication and financial services group by 6.16 percent. While the expenditure group that experienced a decrease in index is the education group recreation, and sports by 0.01 percent.

The calendar year inflation rate (January-December) 2017 and the year-on-year inflation rate (December 2017 to December 2016) were 3.97 percent, respectively.

The core component in December 2017 experienced inflation of 0.34 percent. Government component inflation was 4.09 percent and volatile inflation component of 2.67 percent.

Kepulauan Bangka Belitung province December 2017 experienced inflation of 1.39 percent with CPI of 137.87.
