Village Potential Results (Podes) 2018 of Prov. Kep Bangka Belitung

Abstraction

• Village Potential Data Collection (Podes) is carried out three (3) times in ten (10) years. Based on the results of the 2018 Podes, there were 391 village-level administrative regions consisting of 309 villages and 82 sub-districts. Podes also recorded 47 sub-districts and 7 districts / cities.
  
• BPS calculates the Village Development Index (IPD) which shows the level of development of the village in the category of lagging, developing, and independent. The higher the IPD, the more independent the village is. The number of independent villages was 31 (10.03 percent), villages developed 274 (88.67 percent), and villages lagged behind (1.30 percent).
  
• Average IPD for Transportation Dimensions 85.53, Dimensions of Implementation of Village Government 78.04, Basic Service Dimensions 58.35, Dimensions of Public Services 64.33, and Dimensions of Infrastructure Conditions 55.87.
