Abstract

The number of guests staying at star-rated hotels in the province of Bangka Belitung Islands in February 2018 was 31,646 people. This number decreased by 1.21 percent compared with the number of previous month's guest as many as 32,035 people. The number of foreign guests rose 35.35 percent while the number of domestic guests fell 1.91 percent.

Room Classification Rate (TPK) of a star classification hotel in the province of Bangka Belitung Islands in February 2018 reached an average of 35.65 percent, up by 3.22 points compared to January 2018 which recorded at 32.43 percent.

TPK The highest star hotels by regency / municipality in February 2018 were in Central Bangka Regency (49.16 percent), followed by Belitung Regency (36.72 percent), Pangkalpinang (33.66 percent) and Bangka Regency 18.31 percent .

In February 2018, the average length of stay of total guests overall in a star classification hotel for 1.74 days, a decline of 0.01 points over the previous month. During February 2018, the average length of stay of foreign guests (2.51 days) was 0.79 days longer than Indonesian guests (1.72 days).
