Abstract

The number of guests staying at star-rated hotels in the province of Bangka Belitung Islands in June 2018 was recorded at 31,473 people. This number decreased by 0.91 percent compared with the previous month's total number of 31,763 people. The number of foreign guests rose 48.16 percent while the number of domestic guests fell 1.68 percent.
Room Classification Rate (TPK) of a star classification hotel in the province of Bangka Belitung Islands in June 2018 reached an average of 36.96 percent, up 1.46 points compared to May 2018 at 35.50 percent.
The highest number of star-rated hotels by regency / municipality in June 2018 was in Kabupaten Bangka Tengah of 46.81 percent, followed by Belitung Regency (41.21 percent), Pangkalpinang City (33.40 percent), and Bangka Regency (17.35 percent) .
In June 2018, the average length of stay of total guests overall in the star classification hotel for 1.78 days, an increase of 0.02 points over the previous month. During June 2018, the average length of stay of foreign guests (3.11 days) was 1.29 days longer than Indonesian guests (1.82 days).
