The number of inter-island sea transport passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in October 2018 was recorded at 10.14 thousand people, an increase of 2.95 percent compared to September 2018 which reached 9.85 thousand people. When compared with the same period in the previous year (January-October 2017), the number of departing passengers increased by 17.04 percent.
The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers arriving in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in October 2018 was recorded at 10.06 thousand people. This amount dropped by 22.18 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-October 2017), the flow of passengers that came increased by 25.92 percent.
The volume of goods loaded at the port in October 2018 was 680.06 thousand tons, up by 1.80 percent compared to September 2018 which reached 668.03 thousand tons.
The volume of goods unloaded during October 2018 was 307.04 thousand tons, up by 23.94 percent compared to the previous month which reached 247.72 thousand tons.
The number of air transport passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands in October 2018 was 125.40 thousand people, down by 0.66 percent compared to the previous month.
The number of passengers coming to the Bangka Belitung Islands by air transport in October 2018 was 128.12 thousand people, down by 0.53 percent compared to the previous month.
