Optimistic Consumers with Economic Conditions of the Bangka Belitung Islands Quarter II 2018

Abstract

The Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) of Bangka Belitung Islands in Quarter II-2018 is 126.89. This means that consumers are optimistic about economic conditions in the II-2018 quarter compared to the first quarter of 2018.
Consumer optimism in Quarter II-2018 is influenced by three ITK forming variables, namely the Consumption Volume Index (136.36), the Household Income Index (133.66), and the Inflation Index on the level of consumption (113.21).
The value of the ITK of the Bangka Belitung Islands in the third quarter of 2018 is estimated at 92.98. According to consumer perceptions, they feel pessimistic about the economic conditions in the coming quarter.
Future Revenue Index is estimated to only reach 94.48. Consumers are pessimistic if their income in the third quarter of 2018 will increase. In addition, consumers have no plans to purchase durable goods, recreation or holding a party / celebration. The Index Value of Purchasing Durable, Recreational and Party / Celebration Goods is below 100, which is only 90.35.
